My grand father was native of Africa for ten years before he moved to the United States of America. He grew up a fisherman in Nigeria and would tell me the stories his father would tell by the Kaduna river while they fished. One story in particular really stood out to me and it was the story of the god who became king, Kaiden. Before man, woman, animals, land, water, and earth, there was nothing but space. Endless space of darkness that was so empty that noise or sound did not even exist but the only thing that watched over it was Ethina. Ethina was Kaiden‘s mother and they shared a special connection because Kaiden was the first out of all his siblings that was created from a natural birth with a human. While his counterpart brothers and sisters where by just the thoughts of their mother.

Kaiden was born with many different abilities as do all gods born from Ethina, he has the ability to manipulate light and radiation while also possessing teleportation, flight, super strength, speed, unnatural endurance ,supreme intelligence but the most important one that he possessed that stood out from him and the other gods and goddesses was the ability to love. His mother, Ethina tried everything in her power to keep Kaiden from learning of this. A mistake she had made that she doesn’t want to see her offsprings follow which is ”Never interfere with free will and Never Love what you’ve Created”. This was hard to do for Kaiden, he loved everything his mother had created sense he was born. Ethina was astonished at the possibility of her son being so powerful and masculine but yet so gentle and peaceful.

As the time has passed into the 1600s when the Portuguese discovered the Africans and captured and enslaved them Kaiden was heartbroken. Crying day and night as he felt the pain of the slaves, pleading with his mother to help them and save them from a foreseeable future that would haunt them till the end of time if they don’t take action. Ethina the almighty, creator of creators, the divine law that they call her. She refused, she did not want the humans to know that they existed. She did everything in her power to clean up her tracks a millennium ago to keep the humans from believing in a higher being but it did not work and she did not want her son to know the truth an do the same.

Kaiden could not believe the woman who he loved so much could be so cold to the things she had created. So he left. Disobeying his mothers laws and leaving their world to come to earth and stop the slave trades and uplift the land of all Africa. People from all countries came across to see him, the one they called an god. They were out of words when placing the eyes upon him, he stood ten feet tall, very musclar man, he skin was brown, hair was dreaded, and only worn out cloth around his waist made from material from his world. They said his is the one, he is our savior, Kaiden told the people of Africa “I heard you, I have heard you all. I have heard the cries and seen the bloodshed, I will protect you all from them!”

An so he did. His mother Ethina was furious with him and embarrassed by this. Can one god make a difference? That was the thought going through the other divine beings that were created by Ethina imagined. She sent everything at him, hundreds of his brothers and sisters he had to battle on a different world to the death because of his mother. Prevailing countless of times due to the fact that he fought for something diffrent than a command, he was fighting for love and freedom and that was more than enough to keep his powers growing and remaining the God King of Africa.

Some say he is still fighting the Gods and his poweres are now equal to Ethina. He is planning to move the entire continent of Africa elsewhere to keep from invaders and the other gods.

I truly love this story by just the fact that can one person really make a diffrence? I believe so and so should yourself. It makes you more, it pushes you pass your limits and that’s something we all need. This will forever be my favorite story “Kaiden, The God King”.
