She looked into his eyes, barely able to see through the tears. Holding her hands tightly he gazed back with his face somberly.

“It’s time, my love,” he touched his forehead to hers. She closed her eyes and nodded nervously.

She looked at him and stepped back.

She brought her hands up and pushed down her finger. His body dropped, hard.

“It’s over, my love,” she crawled to him, caressing his face.

She pushed his body off the cliff in the raging river.

Her body shrunk and she sobbed into the dirt.
