THE PAIR THAT PLEASES EVERYONE

I could remember when I had my first cup of coffee. I was about fourteen or fifteen when my mom let me try it. I tried the coffee and I liked it right away! Ever since then I drink coffee with cream and sugar. There was one time in my life I was drinking coffee black with sugar. I drank this kind of coffee for a year. I started having stomach problems, I found out it was because I was not putting cream in the coffee! I went back to putting cream in the coffee when I did my stomach problems went away. I am a senior now and I drink coffee and I love to have it with Pie or Cake. Coffee goes together with these two deserts great! It doesn't matter what kind of Pie or Cake it is coffee goes great with them. I like having coffee in the morning and, I like having it with Pie or Cake. Donuts are great to have with coffee too! It was the way I was brought up, my Dad liked to have Cake or Pie with his morning coffee. To this day that is what I love to have in the morning.

COFFEE AND CAKE

The best Cake to have with your coffee I think is chocolate cake! Other cakes are great but if your a fan of chocolate you can agree with me! Chocolate cakes are the best to eat with coffee. A snack in the afternoon is great to have. But if you are watching your weight it can be a problem. These two are the Holy Grail that goes together when you drink coffee. I have a sweet tooth and I am sure many people do too! When I have a cup of coffee I like to drink it reading a book. It is very relaxing for me and I enjoy the time. I also like serving coffee with my daughter and my friends. Most of my friends like coffee and they too serve it with cake. I enjoy being with my friends drinking coffee and eating cake. One of the best coffee to drink is Folgers. I buy Folgers coffee often it is one great coffee on the market today. There are many different chocolate cakes. German Chocolate cake is one of them, it is a great cake to pair with coffee.

APPLE PIE AND COFFEE

Apple Pie goes well with coffee it is probably the most liked pie to eat. I always serve this pie at Thanksgiving meal with coffee. I also serve Pumpkin pie too, I also serve Pumpkin pie with coffee. Other pies are great too, but Apple and Pumpkin are the pies many people like the best. There are many other pies you can serve with coffee. The pies can be served with Ice Cream of your choosing. Apple pie and Pumpkin pie are Thanksgiving favorites to serve to your guests. I usually try to bake the pies rather than buying them at the store. Baking them yourself the pies taste much better and your guests will rave about them.

CHRISTMAS, PIES, AND CAKES

The Christmas holiday is quickly approaching. Besides decorating the tree and wrapping presents there is the Christmas dinner. I usually cook ham, potatoes, vegetables, and bread. I bake a lot of cookies before Christmas to give away as a gift. I also bake a cake and Apple, and Pumpkin Pie. After everyone has eaten the main dinner, I will serve the desserts. Of course, Coffee is served with the desserts I baked. After we eat the desserts, we all sit on the living room couch and open presents. Christmas is my favorite holiday I love having my family with me. I celebrate Christmas in a big way, I like making people happy. I do get a lot of help from my daughter doing the things so we can have a great Christmas day!
