If you are coming from the airport, or, staying near the airport, the RTD Train system offers an easy way to get downtown, and avoid steep Uber/Lyft fees. Whether you take the train, or drive to the downtown area, Union Station for sure is a great place to start.

Union Station, Downtown Denver.

Union Station in Downtown Denver, hosts a variety of fun places to eat, shop, and be entertained. They boast a ton of little food stands, as well as full-service restaurants, deli's, ice cream shops, and some awesome coffee shops, like the amazing Pigtrain Coffee Company. Pigtrain Coffee Company offers a full service coffee bar, with amazinng cold brews, hot options, and, matcha tea creations.

Once outside, I began looking around for a good place to have lunch. I found a fun looking place to eat in Denver, called, Next Door Eatery.

Baja Fish Torta & Drink Selection at Next Door Eatery Union Station

Next Door Eatery, Union Station, offers a simple menu, offering a fusion of Latin, Asian, Mediterranean, and classic American cuisine. The atmosphere is fun and friendly and offers both indoor and outdoor seating options. The bar is fully stocked with a variety of high and low shelf spirits and boasts an awesome selection of house made cocktails.

I decided to try the Baja Fish Torta, and was met with a crisp, flavorful, non-greasy sandwich, with just the right amount of slaw, dressed in a Jalapeno Aioli. The service was fast and on point, and a great way to grab a quick bite to eat in downtown Denver.

Looking for the best brewery style dining in Denver? I think I found one of my favorites, when, I stopped into Wynkoop Brewing Company. Colorado's Original Craft Brewing Company offers an amazing street side view of the downtown Denver, Union Station, area.

I was looking to just chill out on my second downtown Denver outing, and, decided to check this place out for a couple of beers. I enjoyed their in-house Rail Yard Amber Ale, and anApricot Blonde Guest Beer from Dry Dock Brewing Company.

The service outside was awesome, with, attentive wait staff, vibrant downtown atmosphere, and, of course, high-quality brews. I looked at some of the food coming out to nearby tables, and I will for sure check it out, next time I'm in town.

My final stop on my second day of finding fun places to eat in Downtown Denver tour, ended, at Aloy Modern Thai. I walked past this one day, and, decided it deserved a closer look.

Aloy Modern Thai

Aloy Modern Thai, Dark & Stormy, and, Chef Noodles

Aloy Modern Thai describes themselves as approaching Thai Cuisines with farm to table freshness, with, a modern twist. The owners, two sisters, Bo Bean, and, Arisa Chanchokpong, worked together, bringing in some of Bangkok's best chefs, creating a well throughout out, flavorful, menu.

They boast an awesome happy hour, which, featured the perfectly made Dark & Stormy, pictured above. For my main dish, I chose the Chef Noodles, which, reminded me of a drunken noodle, however, it also included an array of fresh veggies, like Zucchini, Sweet Peppers, Broccoli, and, a house chili paste that was to die for.

This was one of the best Thai dishes I have ever had, and, you can taste the difference the farm to table style of cooking brings to your tastebuds.
