Ingredients:

• 1 yellow onion, sliced

• 1 garlic bulb, sliced in half

• 1 lemon, sliced

• 1 to 2 bundles of thyme sprigs

• 1/2 tsp liquid smoke

• 1 cup water

• 10 lbs fresh young turkey

• salt and pepper

This pressure cooker turkey is moist and flavorful, and it frees up your oven for all the side dishes.

To make this dish, simply add 1-2 yellow onions, 1-2 garlic bulbs split in half, 1 lemon sliced, 1-2 bundles of thyme, 1/2 tsp of liquid smoke, and 1 cup of water to the Instant Pot.

Place the turkey breast side up on top of all of the ingredients in the instant pot, then add the water and liquid smoke.

Cook the turkey for 60 minutes. Release the pressure naturally after cooking for 60 minutes for 40 minutes.

After that, you'll remove the liquid and replace the lid with the Air Fryer lid. Finally, you'll broil for 10 minutes until the skin is crisp and brown.

This dish is sure to be a hit at your Thanksgiving feast!

Save the stock created from the initial cooking of the turkey for use in other recipes. Keep the bones, neck, and other pieces for future bone broth recipes.
