Mother nurture me in the way that I should go.

Should I stray, be on my side to get me back on the straight and narrow.

Be in my corner when I'm on the honor roll.

Clap and stand for me in the back, when the world tries to stab me in mine when I'm down.

Wash my face when dirt appears.

Smile ear to ear and tell me that the pain will disappear like the dew on the ground.

Mother nurture me in the way that I should go.

Get me sweet nectar that will keep me on my feet, as I'm sick and out.

When my mind is drowning, fish me out of the hole I'm in.

Teach me how to self - love. Teach me about mental health.

Mother nature is you.

You bring the sun when it rains.

You bring the hugs when the rain from my eyes hit the ground.

What is that sound I hear?

It's your voice, as you call out to me.

It's my voice as I scream out to you.

Mother Nurture me in the way I should go.

Teach me how to walk, teach me how to run.

When I grow weak, teach me how to remain strong.

Teach me how to word my words when I find a lady that emulates you.

When I find a lady that emulates your walk and your talk.

A lady that emulates the nurturing you have done for me.

Teach me how to put her first.

Teach me how buy her flowers and chocolates just because and not for a specific season.

Show me how to shop for a ring and teach me the importance behind it when the season approaches.

Teach me about the unity and the mystery that will follow.

Teach me about the future and how to make my plans plain and that no weapon will come against and destroy me.

Give me your notes you jotted down as you observed me.

Tell me how to improve as you continue to nurture me.

Get me sweet nectar that will keep me on my feet, as I'm sick and out.

A nectar that is like Agave, adding it to my tea to make it sweet.

Reminiscing on the chicken noddle soup you made when my stomach was down and under.

You said no worries and gave me an umbrella when I under emotional clouds.

No wonder, I will seek for one that will emulate you.

A best friend to grow with, a best friend to raise a family with.

I searched because you gave me the blueprint of a mother and the blueprint lives on and on.

I will pass it on, I will love my daughters and sons with the same nurturing love.

When my daughter cries, I will help her fly.

When my son does the same, I will build him up and teach him that it's ok to not be ok.

I will build them to be kings and queens and tell them that my mother was everything.

Bedtime stories will continue as our lives intertwine and the words on the page go past the back cover of the book.

Mother nurture me in the way that I should go.

When I wake, I hope I do not stray.

Straight and narrow is the road, not worrying about the future because you told me not to.

You gave and give me hope.

You provided a life boat when I was in deep water.

You gave me reassurance to stand when I was in shallow.

A nectar that continues to drip as if it was sap.

Sweet syrup on my pancakes, breakfast, some food for thought.

You taught me life.

You taught me... life.

Mother continue to nurture me and read me the bedtime stories.

Even when I dance with my wife on wedding night, that evening...

There will be a dance dedicated just for you.

The lights will fade as we two - step to a mother - son inner drum.

A thank you note dance.

A I remember all the Hallmark movies we watched type of dance.

A hug and kiss on the cheek that only a mother can provide.

As you build with the lady that I believe emulates you....

Meet me with the same smile you once did when I was young with bright eyes looking into yours as my world, as my....

Everything.

As my Mother Nurture, my Mother Nature, my Mother Nectar.
