Seven Ways to Access and Sustain Divine Presence

**1. Be Born Again

"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." — Revelation 3:20

When you surrender your life to God, He begins to dwell within you. Colossians 1:27 says, "To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." This transformation occurs at salvation, representing the mystery of the new birth. Being born again brings a constant awareness of God, making you a resident of His presence.

**2. Hunger and Thirst After Righteousness

"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." — Matthew 5:6

To walk with God, we must align with His ways. "Because it is written, be ye holy; for I am holy" (1 Peter 1:16). Even the Devil recognizes your unity and agreement with God, as illustrated in Acts 19:15: "And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?" Righteousness means doing right by His help, not our own. "Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous" (1 John 3:7). Paul operated in divine realms because he was properly positioned through righteousness: "And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul" (Acts 19:11).

**3. Walking in Obedience

"Obedience is better than sacrifice." — 1 Samuel 15:22

"When he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God." — Hebrews 10:5-7

Jesus exemplified this in John 8:29: "And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him." Walking in obedience is crucial to sustaining divine presence.

**4. Commitment to Serving God and the Interests of His Kingdom

Paul was a working wonder because he was continually serving God, regardless of his circumstances. This commitment was his secret to becoming a great servant of God. Serving God and prioritizing His kingdom keeps you aligned with His divine presence.

**5. Walking by Faith

"For we walk by faith, not by sight." — 2 Corinthians 5:7

Sustaining divine presence requires walking by faith. Hebrews 11:27-34 and Acts 27:22-25 illustrate the power of faith in maintaining God's presence. Jesus emphasized this in Mark 9:23: "Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth."

**6. Commitment to the Leading of the Holy Spirit

Jesus always waited for the signal from the Holy Spirit before moving. His presence is guaranteed whenever He leads. John 11:3-45 highlights the importance of being led by the Spirit. God's presence will go with you whenever you follow His lead.

**7. Lifestyle of Praise and Worship

Maintaining a lifestyle of praise is essential to retaining God's presence. Praise invites His presence into your life. By continually dwelling in His presence through praise, you become a commander of miracles rather than just a recipient.

To access and sustain divine presence, these seven principles are key. By being born again, hungering for righteousness, walking in obedience, serving God, living by faith, following the Holy Spirit, and maintaining a lifestyle of praise and worship, you align yourself with God and His divine presence. Embrace these practices to experience a deeper, more sustained connection with the divine. Type Amen!!
