### How Should I Pray for Church Growth?

**1. Ask the Father**

The Father is the owner of the church. As stated in John 10:29, we must ask the Father to bless our efforts. We should pray fervently, saying, "Father, give us the souls of the people in this city. Bring the Gentiles into our church." Church growth begins with prayer. We must ask the Holy Spirit to release His irresistible sound and driving wind to draw people in.

Pray: "Holy Spirit, release Your whistling sound to the captives. Make Your sound irresistible and drive them by Your wind into this church. Convict them of their sins and bring them to salvation."

Often, we don't know what to pray for, and that’s why our prayers seem unanswered. We must pray with specificity and conviction, asking the Holy Spirit to move in our community.

**2. Engage Angels: The Reapers and Mobilizers of Salvation**

In the last days, angels play a crucial role. According to Matthew 13:39, "The reapers are the angels." Angels visited Cornelius in Acts 10:1-7, guiding him to Peter who then led him to Christ. While angels cannot preach, they can mobilize people for salvation. We can pray for angels to bring people to our church, where they can hear the Gospel.

Pray: "Reaper angels, come down on this field. Go to the four corners of this city and bring men and women in great numbers to our church."

When people arrive at our church without invitations or advertisements, it is often the work of angels leading them to us. While angels can't preach, they can guide people to places where they can hear the pure Gospel.

**Pray for Establishment and Growth**

It's not enough for people to visit the church; they must stay and grow in their faith. We need to pray for their spiritual growth and stability.

1. Pray for Christ to be formed in them: "My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you." (Galatians 4:19)

2. Pray for them to be established and complete in the will of God: "Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, salutes you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God." (Colossians 4:12)

**Ensuring Their Spiritual Growth**

We must pray that new believers not only come to church but stay and grow. Many churches act like transit camps where people come and go. The Bible emphasizes that our fruit must abide. If our fruit does not remain, we are not fulfilling our mandate. The joy of church growth is in seeing people stay, grow, and flourish in their faith.

To ensure they stay, we must remain committed to prayer. We need to create an environment where new believers feel welcomed and nurtured. It's through dedicated prayer and engagement that we can see sustained church growth.

**Conclusion**

Prayer is the foundation of church growth. By asking the Father, engaging angels, and praying for the establishment and growth of new believers, we align ourselves with God’s will for His church. The Holy Spirit and angels play pivotal roles in drawing people to the church, but it is through continuous prayer that we ensure they stay and grow. As we stay committed to these principles, we will witness supernatural growth and the fulfillment of God's promise for His church.
