Durood Ibrahim, also known as Salat Ibrahimiyya, is a special Islamic invocation that Muslims recite to send blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his family, as well as upon the Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) and his family. This invocation is considered highly significant in Islamic worship, particularly in the context of daily prayers (Salah) and other devotional practices.

Text of Durood Ibrahim

The English translation is:

"O Allah, send Your peace and blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You sent peace and blessings upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious."
