  • Hathras : Recently, very shocking news has come out from Uttar Pradesh in which about 121 people have died. This accident has been the headline on all the news channels for a long time, which took place in Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, around noon. It happened at 3.30 in Phulrai village that Narayan Sakar Vishwas Hari, also known as Bhole Baba, was conducting a satsang in which about 250,500 people had come to listen to him, out of which 80,000 people were allowed in the tent where the satsang was going on. Everyone else was outside the tent.

After some time, when the whole Satsang was over and at the end, when Bhole Baba was going from the tent to his car, all the devotees started trying to take the soil from his feet, due to which there was a commotion and people started falling under each other's feet. Due to which 121 people lost their lives, majority of whom were women.

  • Now the question is arising that who is responsible for such a big accident? ,

An FIR has been registered against the organizers and volunteers of event and fellow Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that a judicial inquiry into the matter will be led by a retired High Court judge and whoever is responsible will be held accountable and he will be punished

  • Who is Bhole Baba?

Bhole Baba, also known as Suraj Pal Singh or Narayan Sakar Hari, worked as a police officer in Uttar Pradesh for more than 15 years in the Local Intelligence Unit.He left his job in the late 1990s and started attending satsangs due to his interest in spirituality. If we talk about following, then they have a very strong influence in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

He has been involved in controversies, including allegations of sexual harassment in 1997 and was the center of controversy for organizing religious sermons during the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to various reports,

Bhole Baba, also known as Narayan Sakar Hari, has assets worth around ₹1,000 crore (approximately $130 million USD). This also includes:

Cash and jewelery worth ₹150 crore -

Land and property worth ₹500 crore -

Vehicles worth ₹20 crore -

Investments in shares and mutual funds worth ₹100 crore -

Other assets worth ₹230 crore

Please note that these figures are estimates and May not be completely accurate. Additionally, the origin and legality of his assets are also being investigated by the authorities.

  • Why Women Victims are more than men ?

According to reports, most of the victims in the Hathras stampede were women, with estimates that around 80-90% of the dead were women. There are some factors that may have contributed to this:

1. Religious importance: Women are often more devoted to religious leaders and programs, and may be more eager to attend satsang and receive blessings from Bhole Baba.

2.Crowd Movement : In such a crowded event, women are more likely to be pushed and crushed due to their smaller physical stature and less visibility in a dense crowd.

It is important to note that these are only possible factors and not definitive explanations, and the exact reasons for the disproportionate number of female victims may never be fully known.
