Elm trees in Central Park in New York City

I have always had a love for trees among my favorites are oaks and birches. Trees stand for centuries and many even blossom. They are always a sight to see and very beautiful. Here are a variety of trees each with its beauty.

American elms are a species of elms that are native to eastern North America. They stand in grace and beauty in Central Park in New York City and have made the park famous. These are hardy species that can withstand low winter temperatures.

Argan trees are endemic to the southern regions of Morocco near the coastal town of Essaouira. These trees have branches that lean toward the ground. This gives an opportunity for local goats to climb the tree making one think that goats grow on trees like in a fantasy.

Bald cypress trees grow in lush green beauty and can be seen growing straight out of lakes. They’re native to the southeastern US.

Blue jacaranda trees are sub-tropical trees native to Central and South America. They’ve been widely planted in other places and are very attractive with long-lasting violet-blue flowers. These trees also make public gardens beautiful.

Crooked Forest of Gryfino in Nowe Csarnowo, Poland stands a grove of strangely shaped pine trees planted in 1930. Supposedly special tools and techniques were used to shape these trees.

Japanese maples are a species of woody plants that are native to Korea, Japan, China, eastern Mongolia, and southeast Russia. They can grow anywhere in the world and are popular for their large attractive forms, leaf shapes, and amazing colors.

Japanese cherry trees are the most famous trees in the world for their beauty and white and pink blossoms. They’re also known as sakura and are ornamental and can be seen in many public gardens around the world.

Silk floss trees are a species of deciduous trees. They’re native to the tropical and subtropical forests of South America. These trees belong to the same family as baobab and kapok trees.

In the cloud forests of the Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt are oyamel fir trees growing at altitudes between 8,000 and 11,000 feet, They are known as sacred figs and have become home to colonies of monarch butterflies. The butterflies cover the trunks and branches throughout the Oyamel Forest.

Wisteria trees are a genus of flowering plants that are in the legume family. There are four species of woody twining vines native to China, Iran, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, southern Canada, and the eastern US. They’ve also been introduced to some countries in Europe. Known as aquatic flowering plants are also called water wisteria.
