Ten Things About me Challenge

It's my turn to step up to the plate and share ten facts about me. Let's go! I'll keep most of my answers short, sweet and to the point cause most of them are probably boring haha.

1. Almost dying- Yes! I almost died from drowning when I was like six or seven years old. I slipped and fell into our pool. I didn't know how to swim, so I just sank to the bottom and awaited death. My brother was swimming and rescued me, so I lived. After this situation occurred my mom taught me how to swim. It took a while, yet I finally learned.

2. Rare disorder- My parents wanted me to get my outie belly button tucked. After speaking to the doctor he explained to us that I actually had a rare disorder called MPS( mucopolysaccharidosis). I still have an outie belly button in case anyone is wondering :)

3. Cheese fanatic- I LOVE cheese! Always have and always will! My favs are cheddar, parmesan, swiss, colby, gouda, yet I'll basically try any type of cheese. Obviously I like to eat Cheez Its a lot too. I love trying international cheeses. If you know of any solid types of cheese please give me those recommendations.

4. Left handed- Not a big deal, but yeah I'm left handed. A few of my relatives are also left handed. It annoyed me as a child all the stuff geared for right handers. Like what are we chop liver? The world has definitely improved for left handers. yet there is still room to improve.

5. Blind- I'm practically blind in my right eye. My side vision is good in both eyes, yet front vision is bad. I actually got glasses cause of seeing Spy Kids 3D. I told my parents I couldn't see most of the images on the film which led us to going to an eye doctor and eventually led me to wearing glasses. I wear contacts now too. I can't legally drive without wearing contacts. Luckily for me I only have to wear one. I'm actually far sighted in my left eye and near sighted in my right.

6. Favorite TV series- Smallville. I love Smallville. It's my all time favorite tv series. I love this series cause it's not about Superman, yet Clark Kent. He maybe an alien from outer space and have amazing abilities, yet underneath the suite he's just an ordinary farm boy.

7. Social media- I have a love/hate relationship with social media. Social media really stresses me out sometimes, so I have to remind myself to take breaks whenever I get over stimulated. What I enjoy about social media is staying in touch with friends or family and who doesn't enjoy a good cat video once and a while?

8. tomatoes- I don't like to eat tomatoes unless they're in a liquid form such as salsa. Strange I know.

9. Video games- I wouldn't say I'm addicted to video games, yet I do enjoy playing them. I don't play console games as often now unless it's something I really desire to play. I do play Fornite quite often. One game I play a lot is Conflict of Nations. It's so fun and really makes you think.

10. Exercise- I love exercising! I really got into a habit during 2020. I don't have a gym membership. I lift weights, drink smoothies, or go for walks around town. Exercise has really helped keep my mood in check as well as keep me healthy and well. I have a port, so I can only lift weights around ten pounds or less which is fine with me.
