Communist China disregard international law

Illegal outposts called Chinese overseers police service

By Kenny BrownePublished about a year ago 3 min read

China’s intolerance for criticism is widely known. The Communist Regime swiftly suppresses its opponents, leaving no room for dissent. However, Beijing has now taken its audacity a step further by disregarding international borders and silencing critics worldwide. This is evident in the establishment of illegal outposts known as Chinese overseas police service stations. Despite official denial by law enforcement agencies, Chinese authorities openly publicize these stations. Moreover, Australians who dare to speak out against China are subjected to peculiar forms of targeting and intimidation. The experiences of individuals like Andrew Phelan, a television commentator and vocal critic of the Chinese Communist Party, exemplify the extent of this oppression.I was sitting in my chair, and the blinds were down when I saw footsteps approaching. On Australia Day this year, Andrew Phelan, a television commentator and vocal critic of the Chinese Communist Party, was unexpectedly arrested at his Melbourne home. He was in deep shock, unsure if it was a joke or a serious matter. The police, in plain clothes with an arrest warrant, read out the charges of serious criminal offenses. Andrew was taken to his local police station. During the interview, he heard the vile words he was accused of writing and sending in an email, threatening to harm a Chinese Australian journalist. The experience was surreal and incredibly confronting for him. The targeting and intimidation of Australians who speak out against China are part of a larger pattern. Other individuals, such as Kevin Caraco, a Monash University academic, and Drew Pavlou, a human rights activist, have faced similar tactics, including harassment and false accusations. The actions of the Chinese authorities reflect their disregard for criticism and their willingness to disrupt the lives of those who dare to challenge them. It’s deeply concerning to hear about the experiences of individuals like Drew Pavlou, Vanessa, and the artist Body. It highlights the alarming lengths to which the Chinese authorities may go to silence critics, even beyond their borders. These stories serve as a reminder of the importance of protecting freedom of expression and human rights, both in Australia and globally. It’s crucial to foster an environment where people can express their opinions without fear of retaliation or harm. It’s courageous for artists like Body to use their work to express their views and shed light on important issues. Art has long been a powerful tool for social commentary and critique. However, it’s disheartening to hear that expressing such views can put individuals at risk, even when they are far from the reach of the Chinese government. It underscores the challenges faced by those who dare to challenge powerful entities. Artists like Body play an important role in sparking conversations and raising awareness, even if it comes with personal risks. Their work can contribute to a greater understanding of complex issues and promote dialogue on human rights and freedom of expression. The situation you’ve described is indeed concerning. The use of death threats, smear campaigns, and intimidation tactics to silence criticism is unacceptable and goes against the principles of freedom of expression and human rights. It’s important for individuals like Andrew Phelan to stand strong and refuse to be cowed by such tactics. Their courage in speaking out and advocating for the protection of those targeted by the Chinese authorities is commendable. It’s crucial that authorities thoroughly investigate and address these allegations to ensure the safety and well-being of those affected. Transparency and accountability are essential in addressing these issues and upholding the values of justice and freedom.be very very cautious even while you're
