In the Chandrapur kingdom, there lived a poor Brahmin named Pitambar. He used to support his family somehow by narrating stories and conducting religious activities. He had a family of his wife Kalyani, two sons and a daughter. Kalyani's daughter Sukanya's marriage is approaching. There is not a single penny in the house. I don't understand how to marry my daughter in such a situation. Whether the daughter is of a rich man or a poor man, everyone gets married. So don't worry, our King Raman Sen is very kind. He respects scholars a lot. Why don't you go to him and ask for alms?

Oh no Kalyani, I can't do this. I won't go begging like this. Why do you call it begging? It is the King's job to give but it is the Brahmin's job to take. Now if I ask for a good cause, what is there to hesitate in. Okay Kalyani, if you say so, I will go to the King, but you know about the strange habit of the King. He helps only those who pass the intelligence test taken by him. Yes, why not, the whole kingdom knows this. Yes and this is it. So the problem is, Maharaj will test me too if I fail then

I will be insulted in front of everyone and that too. Why do you think about defeat? Pray to Maa Saraswati for your victory and go there. I am sure that you will return successful and if you agree with me then both your sons should also come with you, they will help you [Music] After listening to his wife, the Brahmin agreed to go to the king. He went towards the palace with his two sons.

He was thinking in his mind, oh, till date I have not asked for even a penny's help from anyone. Today I feel very strange asking from someone and who knows what

the king will ask me if I am not able to answer. Soon he reached the palace. The guard went and gave the message to the king. Jai Maharaj, a poor Brahmin is standing with his two sons at the door of the palace. He wants to meet you Maharaj. Well, if that is the case then go and send that Brahmin.

The Brahmin appeared in front of the king with his two sons and said, Pranam Maharaj ji, call me Brahmin Devta and order me how I can help you. I can do it Maharaj, my daughter's wedding date is near. There is poverty in the house.

That is why I have come to you to ask for help. Maharaj, okay, we are ready to help. You are a Brahmin god. If we don't help you, then whom will we help? But for this, you will have to pass a test of intelligence. Yes, of course Maharaj, for this, both my son and I are ready. Tell me Maharaj, okay, you are elder, that is why I will test you first. Brahmin god, I will tell you an incomplete story, which you will have to complete in the right way.

You tell the story Maharaj, so listen. Brahmin god, there was a king. One day, he was lying in his bedroom at night. Then he called his servants and said, some time ago, the sound of a bird was heard from the south. Go and find out who that bird was. Whoever came, Maharaj, the servant came out of the palace and went towards the south. He was thinking in his mind, Maharaj is also very strange.

How will I find out at this time of the night, which bird's sound did he hear? What should I say? Then the servant asked someone to tell him. He heard the woman crying. He was surprised to hear this. He reached near the bushes from where the sound was coming. Then he saw that three or four men were beating a dead man and the woman was standing and crying. Why are these people beating this man? To save that man, the servant challenged the other three people and said, "Wait you wicked people, I will tell you now." The servant fought with the other three people and killed one of their companions. Seeing the condition of their companion, the rest of the people ran away.

Bhaiya, we are foreigners. We were looking for a place to stay. Then these robbers attacked us. If you had not come, these people would have killed us. Thank you Bhaiya, thank you. Help us Bhaiya, yes, it is okay.

It is okay, don't worry sister, whatever God does is for the right thing. I had gone out for some other work, but anyway, come, I will take you to a safe place. Then the servant took both of them to a Dharamshala and made proper arrangements for their stay there. When the servant returned to Maher, the king asked, "Did you find out which bird it was?" No more Maharaj, please forgive me. As soon as I came out of the palace, I heard a woman crying. After this, the soldier told the whole thing to the king. Hearing everything, the king got angry and said, "You did not complete the work for which you were sent and got involved in some other work, that is why we are putting you in jail. Take him away." On the king's orders, the soldier was put in jail.

The next night, the king again heard the same bird's voice. Today, the king himself went out in search of that bird. He had gone a little far in that direction when he saw some people in the bushes. Behind that bush, there seemed to be a house of some people. He went a little closer and started listening to those people.

There were two men present there. One of them said, "Brother, we have to find out the secret hideouts of the palace anyhow, so that we can tell the king of Vijayanagar and get a suitable reward from him. Yes brother, you are absolutely right. We both will accomplish this task together." After listening to both of them, it did not take long for the king to understand that both of them were spies of the enemy country Vijayanagar.
