Oppenheimer big winner at BAFTAs with seven awards | Windsor Star

Murphy was named best entertainer for playing J Robert Oppenheimer, known as the dad of the nuclear bomb, while Downey Jr won best supporting entertainer.

The show won seven Baftas including best film. Unfortunate Things got five, including best entertainer for Emma Stone.

Best supporting entertainer went to Davina Euphoria Randolph for The Remnants.

Oppenheimer and the acting victors could well recurrent their triumphs at the Oscars in three weeks - despite the fact that Oscar and Bafta electors seldom absolutely concur.
