Epiphany

There is no better feeling than finding a story that I love.

I enjoy getting lost in the failures and successes of others.

I open my mind and heart to the words on the pages.

I embrace the character that an actor gracefully portrays.

Stories keep my mind wonderstruck about the world and alternate realities. I admire minds that dive deep and create art.

I am most relaxed with a great film and my favorite snacks. My favorite thing to do after work is writing, watching amazing Tv shows, and movies. I am obsessed with the series written by two very talented ladies, Lena Waithe and Issa Rae in the picture above.

I only read psychical novels until I found online reading sites such as Wattpad (brought back memories I bet).

In my teenage years, I went from High School to College with overwhelming growing pains.

I found myself in survival mode. I focused on aspects that I thought would advance my life after graduation.

At first, I chose to study psychology. I still have an interest in the psychology field but my heart doesn't quite beat for those topics.

My soul feels alive when I pull out my journal or my Google docs and write until the burning sensation in my body feels calm.

I found myself putting the pieces together as all my favorite activities and goals collided in my mind.

I battle depression and anxiety so, when I think about not making it as a writer/film-maker, I feel hopeless.

Reading and learning about other creators and artists made me realize they sometimes feel the same.

A plethora of people on social media wants to be heard and have opportunities to show their art. I can one hundred percent relate. I know that I will be that person for them. I love seeing others win and I will facilitate in that.

I express myself through words because I never had a voice. At least not one that I felt like everyone heard. I create art through my words. With my laptop open, my words come at ease.

I generated this platform because I admire the writing platform Episode. They have amazing visuals, but I am not an expert with coding and putting in every interaction so, I gave up.

Regardless I want to create sharable content. So, I decided to create something of my own that I love. Which will exceptionally assist creators.

This mind-breaking epiphany led me to my current goal.

Epiphany provides me a sense of peace.

I want to assist creatives with getting their art out to the world.

I want Epiphany to help others relax and unwind just like it does for me.

All creators can communicate

Share their work

Learn/increase their skills or hobbies

And have new opportunities.

I honestly do not think there is anything more beautiful than art expressed through all its different forms.

Music, paintings, books, and movies are the best kinds of expression. I enjoy the relaxation it brings me as I allow my mind to explore these topics. It's beauty and creativity gives me a sense of serenity.

I want everyone to know it is important to find something you love in this world and hold on to it. No matter how long it takes. Just don't give up!

I know that Ep!phany will save so many lives.

Here are some of the ideas I will implement on Ep!phany

• Have a variety of classes available so members can increase their skills.
• Post their work and receive constructive feedback in comments sections when needed.
• Artists share their craft such as films, stories, paintings, music, and any other forms of expression.
• Monetize creators by having tips, donations, and challenges.
• Ask the audience what challenges they would like to do.
• Chat rooms available for creators to be able to come together and share ideas and common interests.
• Members vote on the stories they like.
• Spaces for fiction and personal stories.
• Inclusion is important and I want to include all people at different levels of experience.
• The platform will be available online and as an app.
• Invite people advanced in their careers to communicate and share advice with creators.

I have met a plethora of people that want to do a lot more than what their day-to-day activities allow. They settle for whatever life gives them and sadly are not allowed to reach farther than what they see.

Everyone deserves to be heard. Everyone should have opportunities to purse their passions.

With Epiphany, they will make side income and perfect their craft.

I want to grab these people and show them that the fire in their hearts should never be put out.

That giving up on your dreams is not "life".

I will use the funds from this challenge and donations to reach out to others using social media platforms and ads.

I will gather all creatives and put their beautiful minds into action on Epiphany.

I am excited about this opportunity and I cannot wait to expose to the world the wonders Epiphany has to offer.
